To Whom it May Concern,

I write you on behalf of Summer of H.E.R.O.E.S. (Helping Everyone
Realize Opportunity and Excellence in Self), a Project Abundant Life
program. Summer of H.E.R.O.E.S. initiated with the goal of giving
youth in the East Austin Community an opportunity to fill their summer
with positive, enriching, and cultural experiences. Youth will engage
in drum class, media arts, Capoeira, swimming, reading, bike building
and healthy eating all free of charge. The program targets youth from
the ages of 13-17 with the hopes of keeping their spirit, minds and
bodies positively fed versus being involved in unhealthy, negative, or
empty activities.

The seven-week Summer of H.E.R.O.E.S. programming will begin June 11,
2012 and will run until August 3, 2012(excluding the week of July 2 –
July 6). We will be based at the Orun Center for Cultural Arts and
Foundation Communities at M Station. Your help with our summer camp
would be tremendous in making the program a success. Summer of
H.E.R.O.E.S. is currently in need of the following:
